McDougall, Katrina (Kate)
HistoryKatrina (Kate) McDougall graduated with an Arts degree from the University of Melbourne and has been involved in the area of cultural heritage conservation and the built environment since 1973. She has been a partner in McDougall & Vines since its establishment in Adelaide in 1987, after previously working with the SA Heritage Branch. Her main area of professional interest is all aspects of the history and development of architecture - buildings, styles, architects, and townplanning - which informs her extensive work in heritage conservation policy and management. As an historian, Kate is also concerned with the preservation and availability to researchers of architectural and associated records, and is chair of the Advisory Group of the Architecture Museum, UniSA.
